25 Years of Impact Through Play

For 25 years, we have been there for children, protecting, educating, and empowering them to rise above adversity through play.

Since 2000, we’ve reached more than 18 million children in 47 countries, helping them to stay in school and learn, overcome prejudice, heal from trauma, and develop the skills they need to thrive.

[HOME SECTION 4 BODY CANADA]

Every day the children in our programs rise above challenges that rob them of their dignity, their promise and put them at risk. We honor these Uprisers.

Children like Balla, 12, who worked in Mali's most dangerous gold mines, but is now back in school, excelling in mathematics and French, and wants to become a doctor. This is her journey.
